Tim Wojcik is a media artist who investigates the immediate and the impermanent through sound, film, and interactivity. Wojcik started exploring in upstate New York and now meanders in central Europe, with stops in China, Morocco, and Texas along the way. His projects play with the natural and constructed world, and draw inspiration from contemplative practices and popular culture.
Wojcik earned degrees from Emerson College and Duke University, with further study at KHM in Cologne and FAMU in Prague. He has collaborated with Vision Lab and AgX Film Collective, curated the last cinema and with the New England Graduate Symposium, and been programmed by otic. Radio, FLEXZONE, UFVA, and Anifest. Wojcik currently lives, works, and teaches in Weimar, Germany.
